BLITHE SPIRIT a comedy by Noel Coward ![]() Noel COWARD’S comedy about death and the afterlife – first performed during the second world war – seems the perfect play for dark times. And coming on the heels of our recent pandemic, this production will be the tonic to remind you that lighter times are just around the corner. A writer engages an eccentric medium to help him through his writer’s block, but during the course of events she summons his first dead wife, leading to a most uncomfortable but hilarious love triangle. BLITHE SPIRIT is a roller coaster of wit and improbable farce, promising a joyous evening in the theatre. Coward at his funniest! “I will ever be grateful for the almost psychic gift that enabled me to write Blithe Spirit in five days during one of the darkest years of the war.” Noel Coward IMPORTANT NOTES: Patrons must adhere to the current Qld Government COVID guidelines.
